Background: Introduced as a small, parasitic being, it feeds upon negative energy generated by the host, something that its very presence helps produce. Negative emotions such as anger, hatred, and the like all generate the energy it needs to grow. As it does, the host collapses inside, becoming what is known as a Shell, which the parasite uses all its life. The nature of the parasite is evil, and it craves intelligence of any sort. This, too, it draws out from its host.

Knowledge obtained from the host may cause the parasite to maintain the identity of its victim in order to further feed amongst its prey.
